Delete Account

How to delete your Hairmage account and what happens to your data.

This Action is Permanent

Once the deletion process completes, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.

Request Account Deletion

Enter the email address associated with your Hairmage account to request deletion. You can also delete your account directly from the app under Settings.

How to Delete via the App

Open Settings

In the Hairmage app, go to your account settings.

Request Deletion

Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your request.

30-Day Grace Period

Your account will be scheduled for deletion after 30 days.

30-Day Grace Period

After you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your account is deactivated but not yet deleted. Your data is not accessible during this period.

Changed Your Mind?

You can cancel the deletion at any time during the 30-day grace period by simply signing back into your account. Logging in will automatically cancel the scheduled deletion and restore your account and all your data.

What Gets Deleted

When the 30-day grace period ends, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account profile (name, email, authentication credentials)
  • All salon and business data
  • Client records and visit history
  • Appointments and scheduling data
  • Staff members, roles, and commission settings
  • Services and pricing configuration
  • Color recommendation history
  • Notes and preferences
  • All cloud-synchronized data

Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period, after which it is permanently purged. We may retain certain information where required by law (e.g., billing records managed by Apple or Google).

Important: Cancel Your Subscription First

Deleting your Hairmage account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid being charged, you must cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings before or after requesting account deletion. Hairmage cannot process refunds directly — refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.
